The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application process.

Applications are now open and will close on 15 December 2024.

*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant must satisfy the subsequent criteria:

• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house using a combined gross domestic earnings that doesn't exceed R350 000 for every annum.

• People with disabilities qualify if their combined household income won't exceed R600 000 per annum.

• SASSA recipients immediately qualify for funding and need not post any proof of income.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent citizens from homes with combined R350 000 click here and R600 000 for each annum.
